Iconic Cartoon Characters and their Fashion

Being young at heart, I still enjoy watching cartoons and I couldn’t deny the fact that they can easily entertain me when I’m bored. And to tell the truth, I sometimes like to incorporate my look or style with some cartoon character. You just have to admit it; some cartoon characters have styles that you are itching to copy like Betty Boop’s sexy look, Cruella de Vil’s dashing look with her furry outfits or Daphne Blake’s 80’s style. And of course, let’s not forget our fashionable boys; there is Johnny Bravo, Arnold and Otto to name a few.

And since we’re at it, let’s list down 5 of my most fashionable and iconic cartoon characters:

5. Betty Boop

Betty Boop

I’m more of an Audrey Hepburn fan than a Marilyn Monroe, but I’ll definitely include Betty Boop on the list even if her style and the latter are eerily similar. Betty Boop is actually caricature of Helen Kane, she appears with childish but sophisticated look composed of a  a large round baby face with big eyes and a nose like a button, framed in a somewhat careful coiffure, with a very small body. She is often seen in a sexy couture red strapless dress, and short hair perfectly combed in little adorable ringlets. Who wouldn't just love her sexy and cute look?

4. Johnny Bravo

Johnny Bravo

Before douche bag we’re born, Johnny Bravo was already on Cartoon Network. However, this big macho tough guy has always been dump by girls. It’s either because of his silly pick-up lines, his vanity or him, being a big mama’s boy. Whatever it is, we must admit, Johnny boy has some fashion taste with his black shirt, jeans, black shoes and fashionable sunglasses.

3. Daphne Blake

Daphne Blake

She may not be smart enough like Vilma, but Daphne has always been the more fashionable one. She’s probably best remembered for that purple dress, pink tights,  pale lavender shoes and that  cute chartreuse scarf. No wonder, Fred fell in love with her.

2. Arnold

Arnold

“Move it, football head!” and move my heart in the same process as well. Arnold is widely known as “the original hipster" with his oversized plaid shirt, pullover long sleeves, jeans and black shoes. Oh, and don't forget that cute, tiny blue cap he wears.

1. Cruella De Vil

Cruella De Vil

Pardon my love for villains, but Cruella De Vil is by far the most fashionable creature that ever roamed the streets of CartoonVille. Her love of fashion is extremely mad up to the point that she could kill 100 little Dalmatian puppies to create the ultimate fur coat that will put her to fame. Although, I don’t agree on the latter, she is still by far the most fashionable cartoon character.
