J. Lo and Her Cat-Eye Glasses at the Rock The Kasbah Premiere

J. Lo and Her Cat-Eye Glasses

To whoever said that glasses can make you look geeky, well think again because J. Lo didn’t look a tad bit geeky when she wore her sassy cat-eye glasses at the Rock The Kasbah Premiere.

J. Lo looked chic and sophisticated when she attended the New York City premiere of Bill Murray’s new movie Rock the Kasbah on October 19, where she debuted an amazing pair of cat eye glasses. Paired with a black and white houndstooth-patterned Max Mara coat, belly-baring turtleneck and skinny pants, J. Lo proves that she’s killin’ the fashion game right now. Since Lopez's lenses amped-up the drama factor, the actress and singer opted for a minimalist smoky eye and a nude lip to complete her on-point beauty game.

And though we all know that Lopez doesn't step out wearing glasses on the regs, the singer managed to pull out and went for this seriously stylish frames. It's sophisticated, but still fierce, and plenty mysterious. Who would have thought that a combination between a simple eyeglasses and the undying design of the cat-eye sunglasses can create an eye-catching accessory.

Along with the 46-year-old hot mama was her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Beau. The couple reunited over the summer after reports had been questioning the status of their relationship all year.

The pop star has been in NYC as of late filming her new NBC series Shades of Blue, in which she stars as “New York detective and single mother Harlee Santos, who fell in with a tight-knit group of dirty cops, taking bribes and protection money that she uses to provide the best life for her honest, talented daughter.”

But back on J.Lo’s look for the night, the American Idol judge then kept the rest of her outfit monochrome to complement her eye-catching bifocals. She stayed cozy in the chilly temperature in an oversized houndstooth Max Mara coat over a two-piece crop top and pantsuit, along with a Valentino clutch. She brought along Casper Smart for the event, and even captioned a pic on Instagram, documenting her frame-focused look, "Movie night."
